Deepika Padukone's favourite cities that she loves to travel to

The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani actor, who will soon be seen in the movie Chhpaak playing the role of an acid attack victim, loves food and travelling. Deepika Padukone in many of her interviews has mentioned her favourite cuisine and her favourite places to travel. She is a hardworking actor but before making her work for so long, you should be sure the actor is well fed, a source close to her had revealed. Deepika Padukone has appeared in Bollywood as well as Hollywood movies and has even travelled to many cities across the world. She has travelled to many cities for a vacation, to promote her movies and even had a destination wedding abroad!

Deepika's favourite cities

She said in an interview that she enjoys vacationing with her family but also travels solo a lot as her friends are scattered all over the world. Apart from travelling abroad, Deepika has travelled to many cities in India, for the shooting of her films. For her film, Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, she travelled to Manali, Himachal Pradesh and even Rajasthan. The film was a super hit and many even praised her for the character she played – Naina Talwar.

She even featured in the film Piku which was a road journey trip to Kolkata. For Tamasha, she travelled to Corsica. While she was promoting her Hollywood film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, she travelled across many countries she had never been before, which she loved. The entire team even flew down to India for the promotions. This also gave her the chance to explore many places, meet new people and interact with them, Deepika stated in a conversation with a media portal.

Deepika’s favourite café is in London, called the Ping Pong Café, which proves she has been there more than once and also loves travelling there. She loves to shop in London and in terms of fine dining her favourite restaurant is Scalini. Deepika Padukone recently tied a knot to actor Ranveer Singh in Europe, at the Lake Como. The wedding was an internal affair with only 35 guests on their list. They held many receptions in India later.
