Deepika Pukone's Chhapaak is all set to clash with Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior and Rajinikanth's Darbaar at box-office. films will all hit aters on January 10, 2020, marking first bumper weekend of new year. three films belong to different genres and, with its widespre promotional activity, is likely to have audiences pouring ir wallets out at box-office.

Actors Rajinikanth, Ajay Devgn, and Deepika Pukone are among most bankable stars when it comes to delivering a successful film. ir films Darbaar, Tanhaji, and Chhapaak have alrey created waves with ir power-packed storylines and promising possible outcomes.

Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior will feature actor Ajay Devgn in titular role of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare in a story that chronicles battle of Sinhag with actor Saif Ali Khan in role of antagonist Uday Bhan Rathore. film has an ensemble cast with actors Kajol, Shar Kelkar, Luke Kenny and Pmavati Rao in pivotal roles. film is directed by Om Raut under Ajay Devgn's production house.

Chhapaak, directed by Raazi fame director Meghna Gulzar, will feature actor Deepika Pukone in role of Malti, an acid attack survivor. film is based on and inspired by story of Laxmi Agarwal, who has been a victim of an acid attack herself. trailer of film highlighted court tribulations, investigation, medical treatment, unwelcoming responses from onlookers, emotional turmoil and acceptance that are challenges for an acid attack victim. Deepika Pukone will be seen alongside Lipstick Under My Burkha actor Vikrant Massey in film.

Rajinikanth's upcoming film Darbar has generated much anticipation among fans of superstar. film will feature veteran actor in role of a police officer after 27 years. Darbar has been directed by AR Murugoss and is produced by Lyca Productions.  movie is set to release on Pongal next year, which is likely to be celebrated in second week of January.
