Dia Mirza now points out Mumbai pollution with AQI, says 'can't even see the skyline'

After highlighting Delhi pollution, Dia Mirza highlighted 'very poor' air quality in Mumbai. When she couldn't see the skyline, she urged to 'beat pollution.'

Is Mumbai suffering from a Delhi-like pollution problem at moment? If Dia Mirza is to be believed, city could be facing a similar situation. actor, who had raised her concerns over pollution in capital, pointed out situation in financial capital as well. Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations for Environment stated that it was t ‘winter fog’ as Air Quality Index hit 315. Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein star said that even  skyline was t visible, and how it was something being igred by media. Dia threw light on need to ‘Beat Air Pollution’.

Dia took to Twitter on Saturday to share two ims, one a graphic of AQI showing as 315, which means 'very poor' by set standards, in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, and or of skyline from her car. She captioned post, “ skyline. , #Mumbai this is t winter fog. It is #AirPollution #BeatPollution #NewsThatWontMakeHeadlines #BeatAirPollution.” She also shared a video on her Instagram stories with caption, “Can’t even see skyline. air is so bad.”

An India vs Bangladesh T20I match being held in capital at that time too had become a controversial topic n. Dia had n asked Board of Control for Cricket in India President Sourav Ganguly to cancel match. 

She had n posted, “It is baffling that  @BCCI has decided to go ahead with T20 match despite AQI’s severe 412! This complete denial of hazards of exposing ourselves to pollution is what cripples our ability to seek and implement swift solutions. #MyRightToBrea #BreaLife," she had tweeted. In ar tweet, she wrote, "@BCCI please stop hiding your head in smog. This air harms players and people that come to watch se games. Accept  #AirQuality is severe. Ackwledge it’s harmful effects. DRIVE ACTION!!! You are so powerful. Use your collective might to HELP. #BeatAirPollution.”
