Did Rithvik Dhanjani get cast in the remake of Satte Pe Satta?

Satte Pe Satta was a 1982 film that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Amjad Khan in the lead roles. Recently it was reported that the film was getting a remake that would be directed by Farah Khan and produced by Rohit Shetty. While the reports are yet to be confirmed, likely, the movie is already in the works as recently an unnamed source discussed the casting of the movie with an entertainment portal.

The source told the entertainment portal that Rithvik Dhanjani, who is a well-known TV actor and frequent reality show contestant, has been cast as one of the brothers in the Satte Pe Satta Remake. Previously it was reported that Nakuul Mehta, another popular TV actor, had been cast in the remake as one of the brothers. Now the three confirmed actors as stated by the source to the entertainment portal are Maniesh Paul, Nakuul Mehta and Rithvik Dhanjani, who will all play crucial roles. The source also told the portal that the movie is now in pre-production and will be on floors in December of this year.

The movie will allegedly star popular actors Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma in the two lead roles. The movie has garnered a lot of attention since this will be a collaboration between two of the biggest creators in Bollywood, Faran Akthar and Rohit Shetty. When asked about the movie in an interview, Farhan Akthar said that any news concerning the film will be revealed during Diwali and until then the people can speculate. 

If Anushka Sharma is indeed in the film, then this will be her second remake after the movie Zero. Hrithik, on the other hand, will be working in the movie after his colossal success that was War, where he starred alongside Tiger Shroff. If Rithvik Dhanjani will indeed feature in the movie, then this will be his first Bollywood appearance. He has only ever worked in TV and short films beforehand.
