Diet Sabya calls out Taapsee Pannu's latest look, attacks designer

Taapsee Pannu's look was recently highlighted by fashion critic Diet Sabya. The anonymous Instagram page, took a dig at the designer Malvika Shroff for copying.

The latest to be called out by fashion critic Diet Sabya is 'Saand Ki Aankh' actress Taapsee Pannu. Diet Sabya shared a picture of the actress sporting a denim jacket by designer Malvika Shroff but in reality, the jacket is a couple seasons old by a British multinational fashion retailer called Topshop. Diet Sabya took a dig at the designer in her caption. Take a look -

One user wrote: "Gandi baat Gandi Gandi Gandi..... Copying a high fashion brand that too. (S)mash or PASS", another said: "What a messbymalvikashroff", another dropped a comment saying: "Kya copy kiya hai! Judwa", another said: "Careful curation is mostly mindless lifting."

In an industry where a male actor is called a hero, Taapsee Pannu says her aim is to break this gender-based stereotype and she plans to do so slowly and steadily. The 31-year-old actor believes the acceptance for female-centric films from both the industry and audience can help bridge the gap between male and female actors being successful at the box office.

"I feel hero has no gender and I am trying to prove that. We have for so many years fed our audience that hero is a gender-based term and they have also accepted that. "Now the change can not come overnight, it will be slow and steady. It requires a lot of perseverance from the side of all-female actors who are trying to bring the change," Taapsee told PTI.
