In a recent interaction with Mid-Day, actor revealed details about how she was t keen to give an audition for role due to fear of getting rejected. She overcame her fear through screen test and is w quite elated about outcome. Actor Dimple Kapia recently spoke to Mid-Day about how she bagged role in Christopher lan’s Tenet. She mitted that she did t wish to give a screen test because she was fearful about getting rejected. According to 63-year-old actor, auditioning has thing to do with an actor's faith in ir calibre. Her first reaction to audition opportunity was t positive. It was frightening for her because she h never done an audition before. Dimple Kapia is currently of stance that it was a mental block that h stemmed from her insecurities and fear of rejection and she is gl to have overcome it.

Dimple Kapia also shed some light on how she did t want to vie for a role as she did t like pressure. She decided to treat it like a picnic and get a picture with lan. After audition, she was almost sure that she would t get role for sure. She believes it was a stroke of good fortune that she landed in role and also h an amazing experience working on it. She also spoke highly of director Christopher lan and his friendly, unassuming nature.

Towards end of interaction, she also specified that she is happy to have taken up audition as it paved way for a new experience. She also confirmed that some great work is coming her way ever since she worked on Tenet.
