Door garlands, ‘Torans’ from cardboards:

huge garlands and torans made from flowers are thing but waste, at times. Diwali is celebrated for several days and flower decorations just turn into garb after one or two days. You can make torans and garlands from colourful cardboards and craft papers. Use m to make colourful buntings and hang m around entrance of house. Simply cut m in interesting shapes and tie m toger on a string. se garlands will look as fresh as your flower torans and won't wir away soon.

Paper Cup Lanterns:

Go eco-friendly this Diwali. Instead of investing in expensive plastic lanterns, make your homemade lantern from paper cups. Paper cups are cheap and reusable. All you need is some Paper Cups, wrapping paper, scissors, glue, and of course, lights. Take different colour wrapping paper and stick m around cup. Make a small hole at bottom of cup and push bulbs through each cup. You can hang se cups on sides of doors or windows.

Fruit Candles:

Fruits are t just to eat. You can use m as a decoration material during Diwali. Diwali is a festival of lights and what is festival without any candles and diyas in décor. So w, instead of throwing orange and sweet lime peels, use m to make a DIY fruit- candle diya. You will need some tea lights and orange or sweet lime peels. Cut orange/sweet lime in two halves. Scoop out pulp carefully without spoiling peel. Once peels are empty, place tea lights within peel. You can also give peel a zig-zag cut design with a sharp pair of scissors. se candles will give you an exotic tangy aroma, all around room.
