Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently busy with her upcoming film The Buckingham Murders which also marks her debut as a producer in Bollywood. Other than this, the Jab We Met actress recently got featured as the cover girl for Harper's Bazaar’s September edition. Known for her candid and outspoken nature, Kareena shared her thoughts on the beauty of ageing and emphasised that she isn’t "trying to look younger with Botox".

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Crew actress expressed her views about being who she is unapologetically, whether it was being size zero or the 44-year-old that she is today. She expressed that age is a part of beauty and emphasised the importance of embracing and loving the age you're at, rather than trying to look younger or fight wrinkles.

She added, “Age is a part of beauty. It’s not about fighting lines or trying to look younger; it’s about embracing and loving the age you’re at. I’m 44 and have never felt better. I don’t feel the need for Botox or any cosmetic enhancements. My husband finds me sexy, my friends say I look amazing, and my films are thriving. I play roles that reflect my age and am proud of it. I want people to see me for who I am and appreciate that.”


Spending quality moments: Kareena Kapoor on self-care

The Jaane Jaan actress further shared details about her self-care routine, calling it ‘deeply personal’. Kareena explained that self-care involves taking time for herself, whether that’s spending quality time with friends, cooking with Saif, or enjoying a workout.

She said, “From the beginning, I was confident that my talent and dedication would ensure I continued to get work. I took care of myself, stayed fit, and focused on being the best version of myself. Self-care means taking time for myself, whether it’s spending quality moments with friends, cooking with Saif, or simply enjoying a workout. It’s about feeling great, whether that’s through fitness routines or just being with my family. Nourishing my soul with a good meal, a heartfelt chat, or a bottle of wine is essential for me.” Her movie The Buckingham Murders will be released in theatres on September 13.
