On auspicious occasion of Durga-Ashtami, actress Priyanka Chopra who is currently in India to promote her upcoming film ' Sky Is Pink' was seen visiting  rth Bombay Sarbojanin Puja pandal. Cl in a beautiful Rahul Mishra ensemble, she was seen offering prayers to goddess. She wore a white embroidered kurta-palazzo and paired it with heavy earrings.

She was attended by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji at venue, who later walked her back to  car. Several or Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee were also seen taking part in grand festivities of day. y were all seen offering Pushpanjli donning tritional outfits.

From early hours of morning, prayers are being offered by devotees on 'Maha Ashtami Puja' for Durga Puja celebrations, huge pandals with idols of Goddess Durga are set-up and devotees come in large numbers to offer prayers to goddess.' Maha Ashtami' is most important day of Durga Puja festival. day begins with 'pushpanjali' and 'aarti' in Durga Puja pandals. Gracing occasion were Bollywood celebrities Kajol and Ayan Mukerji who were snapped at puja pandal in Juhu.

Meanwhile, as celebration is in full-swing, pandal-hoppers are thronging in and around.  Back in Kolkata, city is dipped into a festive fever, and as per reports, trans community celebrated festival by offering prayers to Goddess Durga on occasion. idol was given a form of 'Ardhnarishwar', which is half Shiva and half Parvati.
