The entire nation is immersed in the festivities of Dussehra on Tuesday, October 8, and the Bollywood stars are no exception. Several A-listers from the industry have also joined the celebration and came forward to wish their fans on the occasion. Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, in a recent Twitter post, extended Dussehra & Vijay Dashmi greetings to fans. He shared a picture of himself enjoying the festivities and wished peace, prosperity and happiness to his fans.

Kesari star Akshay Kumar also took to Twitter to convey Dussehra greetings. In a recent post, he wished his followers a happy Dussehra and expressed hope that the festival season brings a lot of prosperity and joy to all.

Dussehra
Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil. The burning of the Raavan effigy is one of the highlights of the festival. While Raavan from the Ramayana has symbolized evil, his effigy is burned on the day to show the winning of the good over evil. The Hindu festival is celebrated annually every year.
