Emraan Hashmi, who was recently seen in Tiger 3, is all set for his next project. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Adivi Sesh in the pan-Indian film Goodachari 2. The film is touted to be a spy action thriller. As per reports, while shooting for the actioner, Emraan Hashmi suffered an injury. A photo of the actor's injured face is now viral.

According to reports, Emraan Hashmi has faced an unfortunate accident while filming for his upcoming film Goodachari 2 in Hyderabad. The actor was allegedly shooting for an action sequence that involved him jumping during which he sustained injuries on his neck. Photos from the film set show the actor getting a cut below his jaw.

While the nature of his injury remains unknown, fans of the actor have expressed concern about knowing the same. Paparazzi account Viral Bhayani shared the photo of the actor showing his injury and putting a bandaid over. The actor or the team from Goodachari 2 has yet to react to the news.

What role is Emraan Hashmi playing in Goodachari 2?

Emraan Hashmi is set to play a prominent role in the action thriller. This film will mark his second Telugu project after Pawan Kalyan starrer OG, which will release in 2025. Goodachari 2 marks the directorial debut of Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and is bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, under the banner of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments. 

Talking about Goodachari, Adivi in a statement said that it is a special film for many reasons. "The legacy of the film has gotten even bigger with time. There hasn’t been a single week in the last 6 years that I haven’t heard appreciation for Goodachari," he added. Spilling the beans about Goodachari 2, he said that it will be bigger, international in scale but Indian in emotion. "For all the fans of Goodachari, G2 will be a Massive Visual treat. Stay tuned," he added. Apart from Adivi and Emraan, the movie also stars Banita Sandhu in a pivotal role. It is slated to hit the theatres in 2025.
