Esha Deol roots for Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 after skipping his son Karan's wedding

Half-siblings Esha Deol and Sunny Deol are rarely seen interacting with each other. Despite being children of veteran actor Dharmendra, they maintain a distance from one another. However, in a rare incident, the Dhoom actress has given a shoutout to her half-brother ahead of Gadar 2 release.

Esha Deol praises Sunny Deol 

Even though Esha and Sunny Deol share a cordial relationship, they are not so open about expressing feelings for one another in public and on social media. However, in a rare instance, Esha took to Instagram to appreciate her half-brother’s work as she shared the trailer of Gadar 2 on the account. While doing the same, she also added a clap emoticon along with a red heart and evil eye emoji.

Sunny Deol is back as Tara Singh in Gadar 2

Sunny Deol headlines the movie Gadar 2, which is all set to release in theatres on August 11. The actor will reprise his role as Tara Singh, 22 years after the release of the first film. The movie also stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur. 

Esha Deol skips Karan Deol's wedding

Last month, Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya. The wedding ceremony took place on June 18 and Esha Deol remained absent from the festivities. This sparked speculation about the relationship between the siblings is not so encouraging. However, even then, Esha made sure to congratulate the new couple on their nuptials on Instagram. 

Interestingly, soon after Karan's wedding ceremonies concluded, veteran actor Dharmendra shared a photo with Esha Deol with himself on his social media. Along with the photo, he also wrote a cryptic note apologizing to them for apparently not personally inviting the actress, her mother and his wife Hema Malini and their youngest daughter Ahana Deol to the wedding and assured them that he still loves and respects them.
