Emraan Hashmi made his debut in the Indian film industry with the 2003 thriller film Footpath which is directed by Vikram Bhatt. The actor has evolved over the years by doing a wide variety of roles in his career. He was last seen in the Netflix T.V series Bard of Blood that is produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The actor was seen portraying the role of a RAW agent Kabir Anand for which he received appreciation from the critics. Emraan will be soon seen in the upcoming film The Body. The teaser of the film is released by the makers and it also features Rishi Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. It will hit the screens on December 13, 2019. It will be released on April 20, 2020. Emraan will be seen playing the lead role opposite megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Kriti Kharbanda will be seen playing the female lead opposite Emraan in the film. The film is a mystery-thriller. Besides this, Emraan is also playing an important role in the upcoming action-crime film Mumbai Saga. It is directed by Sanjay Gupta. The first look of the film is out and it consists of a big star cast. The film will hit the screens on June 19, 2020.
