Fardeen Khan Calls Father Feroz 'Intimidating': He Was Known For His Temper

Fardeen Khan is basking in the success of his recent outing Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor made a comeback on screen after 14 years. Days after the release of the series, the actor shared his equation with his father and veteran actor Feroz Khan. 

Fardeen Khan talks about the complicated relationship with his father Feroz Khan 

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Fardeen Khan admitted that he was not fully prepared for his debut movie Prem Aggan- which was directed by his father Feroz Khan. He shared, “I was definitely raw for my first movie, I wasn’t ready. Also, working with my father, someone who has a larger-than-life personality, someone who I was pretty bloody scared of… He was liberal, but you wouldn’t want to mess with the FK. Some of my friends used to call me ‘FK’ and if he was around, he would say, ‘There is only one FK’.” 

The movie did not do well at the box office. The actor shared how his father was an intimidating man. He added, “He was liberal, he let you be, but he was also known for his temper, that’s common knowledge. Sometimes, I deserved the wrath of his temper. He was an intimidating person.” 

Fardeen Khan shared his father was not an expressive man 

In the same conversation, the actor shared how his father never expressed love to him. He recalled, “He would tell everyone else how much he loves me, my boy, my son; but to me, never. Maybe, in the later years he became a little expressive, but not initially. He was very, very into himself.” Fardeen shared that the veteran actor was ‘possessive but not expressive’. 

He added, “He was protective of his tribe. My mother made it up for it. I have a beautiful relationship with her. Right now, she is not happy with me. I have been a little stupid. We keep having a few of our spats here and there, so we just had one of those spats.” He added that learning from his mistakes, he has become more expressive with his kids.
