Popular actor, Farhan Akhtar is considered as one of the most talented personalities of Bollywood. Farhan’s skills include direction, writing, production, and singing, which makes him an all-rounder. The actor joined acting and singing in 2008 with Abhishek Kapoor in a musical-drama, Rock on. Recently, Farhan Akhtar posted a throwback picture with his mom on social media which made his fans gush with happiness.

As per reports, Farhan is a very private person when it comes to his personal life and rarely talks about his family. However, a recently posted picture by the actor on his social media handle with his mom gave a glimpse of Farhan’s life. This rare picture with his mother, Honey Irani, also has sister Zoya Akhtar in the frame.

Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, Farhan’s parents, were married from 1972 to 1985. Javed Akhtar then married Shabana Azmi and later divorced Honey Irani. Form this black and white recollection to a colorful and vibrant celebration of Diwali, Farhan Akhtar gave intimate insights into his family life.

The actor was last seen on the big screen in ‘The Sky is Pink’ alongside Priyanka Chopra. However, the film did not do well at the box office, but Farhan’s performance and the role were amazing and also praised in the film. The actor is currently working on a boxer drama film ‘Toofan’. The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, which reportedly expected to be an inspiring sports drama. The first look at the film showcased Farhan in a boxing ring. The film will release in the theatres in October 2020.
