Farhan Akhtar has maintained a good balance between his acting and production. He started the year by producing one of the best films of the year, Gully Boy, and critically acclaimed TV Series Made In Heaven. The film was a blockbuster at the box office and he even made announcements about his upcoming film and surprised the audience with the news about the second season of Inside Edge. He recently shared a picture while working out, as part of his preparation for his upcoming sports drama film Toofan.

Farhan's latest social media post sees him working out for his upcoming film in which he is portraying the role of a boxer. He is seen with an intensity in his eyes inside the boxing ring. The actor received a lot of comments from his fans and well-wishers. He even captioned the post by saying that he was how he stormed into his weekend. Farhan has lately posted many pictures from his preparations for his film. The film has gone on floors and his fans are excited to see him playing a unique character. It seems like the actor has left no stone unturned to get very deep into the skin of the character.

Farhan’s last film as an actor was The Sky Is Pink opposite Priyanka Chopra. The film is directed by Shonali Bose and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor. It was also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival where it received a standing ovation by the audience. Farhan will be seen in the upcoming sports drama film Toofan that is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Farhan will be portraying the role of a boxer and the poster of the film is released by the makers on social media. The film is written by Anjum Rajabali while the dialogues are penned by Vijay Maurya. It will release on October 2, 2020. It is the second collaboration of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar after the successful sports biography Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
