Bollywood filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is celebrating her 47th birthday on Monday, October 14. To mark day, his bror actor Farhan Akhtar put out an orable post on social media. He shared a throwback picture with her sister on Instagram and captioned it drawing refence to ir latest joint venture 'Gully Boy's Oscar mination. 

Extending love to Zoya, Farhan Akhtar wrote, "Happy birthday @zoieakhtar .. may you get all that your heart desires. Bas Oscar le aana 🧐.. Love you. ❤️"

Moreover, Zoya Akhtar has also being invited as a member of Oscars Acemy. Acemy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences anunced a list of new members and invited four Indian film personalities including Anurag Kashyap, Anupam Kher, Zoya Akhtar, and Ritesh Batra to join organization.

Zoya who is kwn for her out-of--box projects is remarkable for helming films like 'Luck By Chance', 'Dil Dhakne Do', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Gully Boy'. Or than Bollywood, Zoya has also tried her hands at Netflix's 'Lust Stories' and streaming giant Amazon prime's 'Me in Heaven'.

Meanwhile, on acting front, Farhan Akhtar is reuniting with man who has given him his biggest success, first and only Rs 100 crore hit, his only Filmfare Best Actor Award, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for Toofan. Farhan Akhtar has been prepping for film for close to six months. It h gone on floors in August this year. However, recently, Farhan Akhtar suffered an injury on sets. He is grappling with a hairline fracture on his hamate in his hands, but that didn't dampen his spirit as he said, ‘ pain, gain.’
