Farmers' Protest: On Monday, actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh took to his Twitter handle to support the Bharat Bandh called by farmers on December 8.

Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh on Saturday joined farmers protests at Delhi's Singhu border and asked demonstrators to be patient and peaceful in ir agitation and requested government to accept ir demands. On Monday, Diljit took to his Twitter handle to support Bharat Bandh called by farmers on December 8.

Dosanjh also wrote, "Stop calling farmers terrorists, y provide food to us all. If India is a precious ring n Punjab is its shining jewel. I am praying that this issue is resolved soon."

"I am t here to talk but only listen. You people are creating history once again. I used to listen to stories that Punjabis are full of energy but I''m witnessing it for first time," Dosanjh said on Saturday. To agitating farmers, his mess was: be patient and peaceful in your protests.

"This is only way we can win this fight. Stories of se days will definitely be told in future," he said, while thanking people who joined protest from Haryana. Numerous or celebrities of film industry like Dharmendra, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Vijender Singh, Kapil Sharma, Sonam K Ahuja, Preity Zinta, and ors expressed ir support.

Meanwhile, after three sets of meetings with Government since start of ‘Delhi Chalo’ protests, and sixth overall, that did t yield a definitive resolution, farmers are planning ‘Bharat Band’ strike on Tuesday. next set of discussions are scheduled to take place on December 9 as farmers continue to protest for 12th day in a row.
