Bollywood films directly or indirectly have a large impact on audience. Across numerous genres, films have narrated many fictional and n-fictional stories. Love angles have often attracted audience. characters like Basanti, Leela, and Geet among ors has mesmerised audience with ir beauty. But very few films have experimented and delivered strong female characters. Among it, a few directors have highlighted female gangsters in ir film.
Recently, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali unveiled first look of Alia Bhatt for his upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. audience and fans are loving and praising upcoming film. possible reason for it could be that concept of film is a bit different than mainstream films. Gangubai Kathiawadi will unfold life of a Gujarati woman, who was a brol owner.

Gulabi Gang, released in 2014, features Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in lead role. film is about a group of women, who fought against social injustice and created a sanctuary for abused women while battling a crooked politician. Madhuri Dixit is seen playing leader of group. re are many scenes that show women killing and dominating men in film.
