Made In China: First day collections of the film at the box office

Made In China has finally released. The film clashed with Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 and Tushar Hiranandani's Saand Ki Aankh. Check out the box office reports.

This Diwali weekend is one of the most crucial weeks at the box office as it is witnessing some major clashes. Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China recently released along with Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 and Tushar Hiranandani’s Saand Ki Aankh. Made In China has received a good word of mouth. The performances of all the actors in the movie are praised by the audience. However, the film has witnessed a slow start.

According to box office reports, Made In China managed to earn around ₹ 1 crore on its first day. As per trade analysts, the film can pick up slowly but there is tough competition. As per their predictions, the long Diwali holiday weekend can be proven to be beneficial for the collections of the movie. The critics have also given a green flag to the movie. Rajkummar Rao’s portrayal of a Gujarati businessman has received good reviews from the critics. Apart from that, the screenplay and direction have also fetched some really good points. While Housefull 4 has experienced a strong opening at the box office, Saand ki Aankh faced a slow start.

Made In China is co-written and directed by Mikhil Musale, who is also the director of the National award-winning Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju. It is based on a novel by Parinda Joshi. Apart from Rajkummar Rao, the film also features Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal, Sumeet Vyas, Gajraj Rao, Amyra Dastur and Manoj Joshi. The film unfolds the story of a Gujarati businessman who flies to China to succeed in life and achieve his goal. The film is produced under the banner of Maddock films of Dinesh Vijan. Rajkummar Rao is currently shooting for Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan. Nushrat Bharucha is playing the female lead in the movie as Rajkummar Rao’s love interest. Zeeshan Ayub will also be seen playing an important role in it. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg. It will release on January 31, 2020.
