The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. Amitabh was seen in a negative role of a bank manager who tries to rob his bank with the help of three blind men. The film received a lot of appreciations and there are reports of Aankhen 2 to be made.

Don series

Inspired from the original Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan, the new movie of the same name stars Shah Rukh Khan as the lead. There were two movies which were Don and Don 2. While the first was heavily based on the original film, the second was a whole new film. Both the movie involves a wild chase for money and power, especially Don 2.

Dhoom Series

One of the best movies in Bollywood based on heist is in the Dhoom series. The franchise has three films, Dhoom, Dhoom 2 and Dhoom 3. John Abraham played the villain in the first part, while Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan were seen in the negative roles in Dhoom 2 and 3 respectively. While the antagonist changed the cops were played by Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in all three films.

Jewel Thief

Released in 1967, Jewel Thief is a spy thriller film, directed by Vijay Anand. It stars Dev Anand, Vyjayantimala and Ashok Kumar. Vinay, played by Dev Anand finds himself constantly mistaken for a look-alike jewel thief, Amar. To clear his name, he joins hands with the police to impersonate the thief, and crack the crime ring. Does he succeed is the mission is the story.

Special 26

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Sheirgill, Kajal Aggarwal and Divya Dutta. Directed by Neeraj Pandey the film is said to be based on the 1987 Opera House heist. A group of con man robs people pretending to be CBI officers. The film received praises from the audiences as well as the critics.
