FWICE releases statement on assistance to Bollywood's Daily wage workers; package coming

Amid the growing scare of the deadly coronavirus in the country, Maharashtra govt and the FWICE had decided to halt shootings, thus affecting Daily workers

Coronavirus has been affecting  whole world and governments all across are trying ir best to contain situation. In India, PM Narendra Modi has ordered a 21-day nation-wide lockdown to contain situation and stop furr spread of Coronavirus. People are trying ir best to help each or and get through this, keeping in mind social distancing.

Previously, Bollywood association FWICE has claimed that one came forward to help daily w workers during se troubled times. w, in an official statement, FWICE has said that y are doing ir best to help m. "We will anunce our relief pack quite shortly", FWICE said.

However, FWICE went on to stress that re are several people from film fraternity who have started ir own 'personal call for donations'. Pointing out issue with it, 32 member body stressed that ir fear is that money from donation should t be fleeced by individuals who are trying to make a quick buck. Read below-

Meanwhile,  FWICE’s president B.N. Tiwari has said that y have written a letter to Amitabh Bachchan and are also trying to contact ors superstars like Salman Khan to help m raise some funds for workers. re are many workers in industry who work on a daily w basis in film industry and current lockdown situation is hitting m most.

Popular film fraternity members such as Raju Hirani and Mahaveer Jain are a few who have come forward to help those who earn on a daily basis. On this, Tiwari said that he is glad to see more and more people coming forward to help needy in such tough times. "Being human is our duty and we all should try to be as humane as we can and help those who really need it", Tiwari added.
