Goa: Here's a list of beautiful waterfalls you can go to on your visit

Goa's popularity as a vacation destination needs little elaboration. Its scenic beaches and Portuguese-era structures are attractive tourist spots for Indians and foreigners. Everyone travels to Goa to see the beaches and the rich Portuguese heritage of Goa, but here are some places near Goa which you can visit apart from the beaches and the heritage buildings. Dudhsagar waterfalls

76 kilometres from the capital of the state lies a beautiful waterfall called Dudhsagar. The locals called it Dudhsagar because the water flowing from the falls looks like milk falling in the falls. You can reach Dudhsagar by road or by train. By road you can travel via the Darbandora–Sancordem–Mollem–Collem Rd, also known as Anmod Ghat. You can reach the town and then trek to the waterfalls. You can take a train heading to Belagavi or Hubballi and get down at the waterfall itself. It is one of the most mesmerising scenes to watch, with water flowing on one side and the beautiful Western Ghats on the other side. You can enjoy the sun setting in the mountains.

Sural/Surla waterfalls

70 kilometres from Panjim lies the beautiful waterfall called Sural waterfalls. This place lies on the border of Karnataka and Goa. The waterfalls fall from a height of 330 feet into the beautiful Sahyadri mountains. To reach the waterfalls, you should drive from Panjim via Chorla Ghat and reach a resort on the way. You can hire a professional who will take you to the tip of the waterfalls. You can stand on the top of the fall and take a peek of the water falling. It is about a one-and-a-half-hour trek from the resort to the waterfalls. The best time to visit this is from November to March. If you want to visit falls in other seasons you can do it by visiting the Surla observatory from where you can see the water falling off the valley.
