Govinda Health Update: Actor's Wife Sunita Says, 'Woh Hero Hai, Jaldi Theek Ho Jaayega'

Govinda Health Update: The Hero No. 1 actor was rushed to the hospital in the wee hours of October 1. He sustained injuries in his right leg after his licensed revolver accidentally misfired. However, the doctors were able to remove the bullet successfully and shared that the actor was stable. His wife Sunita has now shared an update on his health.

Govinda 's wife shares his health update

On October 3, Govinda 's wife Sunita addressed the paparazzi stationed outside the Citi Care hospital where Govinda is admitted. Speaking to the media, she assured fans of the actor that he is recovering well. She also shared an update on his discharge.

She said, “ Govinda is fine. Most probably, he will be discharged by tomorrow (Friday). Today is the first day of Navratri and I have performed a puja for Govinda. Don't worry about him. Woh hasta-khelta hi rehta hai aur hasta-khelta hi bahar aayega abhi.” Furthermore she added, “Woh hero hai, jaldi theek ho jaayega.”

Govinda shifted from ICU to normal ward 

Govinda , who earlier suffered a bullet injury to his leg, has been shifted to the general ward from the ICU and is said to be making a speedy recovery. His manager Shashi Sinha shared that the police have taken the statement of the actor’s daughter Tina. However, the actor’s statement is yet to be taken. The cops will record the actor's statement once he feels better.

Last evening, the Mumbai Police reached the hospital and spoke to Govinda about the incident. However, an official statement from him is yet to be taken. The actor misfired his licensed gun while he was cleaning the closet, and accidentally shot himself in the foot. A part of the gun's lock was said to be broken which led to the misfiring. His manager also shared that the actor will most likely be discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
