Govinda Health: 'Got 8-10 Stitches', Doctor Treating Actor Says; Discharge Likely In 2 Days

Govinda News: Bollywood actor was injured in leg on Tuesday after his revolver accidentally went off at his Mumbai residence when he was about to leave for airport. After checking into hospital with a bullet wound, surgery was performed on him. Subsequently, family members paid him a visit at Criti Care Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. According to PTI, 60-year-old actor is out of danger and recuperating.

Speaking to media stationed outside hospital, doctor who treated Govinda informed how he was doing and when he was likely to be discharged.

Doctor says Govinda 's condition is stable, actor currently resting

doctor said that Govinda arrived at hospital after sustaining a bullet injury at around 5 am on Tuesday. He was immediately taken into medical care and operation was performed on him by 6 am. Dr Agarwal told media that Govinda is doing well ding that he got "around 8-10 stitches."

Talking about when actor is likely to be discharged, he furr shared, "I think maximum couple of days, maybe do din mein (in two days)." When asked where Govinda hurt himself, doctor said, "Jo ghutne hota hai usse do inch niche (Two inches below knee)."

Govinda shares audio mess for his well-wishers

After surgery, Govinda released an audio mess reassuring fans and well-wishers that he was doing well. "With blessings of my fans, my parents and god, I am doing better w. I was hit by a bullet, which has w been removed. I thank doctor here, Dr Agarwal ji. I thank all of you for your prayers," Hero 1 actor and a member of Eknath Shinde -led Shiv Sena said in audio mess.

According to his manr Shashi Sinha, accident happened around 4.45 am when he was about to leave home to catch a 6 am flight to Kolkata for a show. trigger of licensed revolver got pushed accidentally while actor was keeping it in cupboard. A bullet n hit his leg, police said.
