Govinda Limps As He Arrives To Cast Vote For Maharashtra Elections, Weeks After Gunshot Accident

Govinda was among several Bollywood actors who stepped out to cast his vote for Maharashtra state assembly elections today, November 20. actor's appearance comes weeks after his gunshot accident. A video of him exiting polling booth with a limp on his leg is now viral online.

Govinda limps as he steps out to cast vote in state elections 

On November 20, Govinda stepped out to cast his vote at booth when worried fans asked about his health. He interacted with paparazzi outside booth and even posed with his inked finger. Sharing a health update, actor could be heard saying, Sab accha hai (Everything is fine)."

Apart from Govinda, industry bigwigs like Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Shrdha Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, John Abraham and Ritesh Deshmukh among ors. polling for Maharashtra Assembly elections is being held across 288 constituencies in state, and entertainment capital of country is turning out in huge numbers to exercise ir right to vote.

About Govinda's gunshot injury 

On October 1, actor and ruling Shiv Sena member Govinda Ahuja was injured after his licensed pistol reportedly misfired when he was cleaning it at his Juhu home. At that time, weapon reportedly misfired a bullet injuring his leg, and a bleeding Govinda was immediately rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu for treatment where his condition is reported to be stable.

actor was discharged from hospital on October 4 and recalled how incident happened. Govinda was speaking to media outside his hospital. He was seen sitting in wheelchair as he went on to thank everyone. “I thank everyone from country for ir love, prayers, and support. Special thanks to ministration, police, and honourable Shinde Ji. Your blessings have kept me safe. Thank you so much for your love. Jai Mata Di!" Govinda said. He said that his doctor accompanied him to hospital.
