Bollywood actor Govinda literally dropped a bomb and no one saw this coming when he said that he was offered a role in James Cameron's 'Avatar'. Don't believe?
At a popular talk show, Govinda made a rather bizarre revelation and said that he rejected the cult sci-fi drama film because James Cameron wanted him to shoot for some 410 days and cover his body with paint during the shoot. So, he apologised and left the film.

Govinda further revealed that he was the one who had suggested the title of the blockbuster film. He said, "I had told (James Cameron) that your film will run successfully in cinemas. I also added that your film will take at least seven years to complete. That infuriated him. He asked, ‘How can you be so sure that I won’t be able to make Avatar for seven years?’ I told him that what he was imagining was something almost impossible. And as predicted by me, the film released 8 or 9 years later and was a super-hit!"

Netizens couldn't keep calm and were left in shock.
According to the reports, Govinda was in talks for a project named 'Avatar' in 2012 with Pahlaj Nihalani. The film never saw the light of day.

Meanwhile, back in February, director James Cameron has revealed that Hollywood stars Chris Evans and Channing Tatum had auditioned for the lead role in his 2009 sci-fi blockbuster "Avatar". The 64-year-old director said he found the performance of Sam Worthington better for the part of disabled former marine Jake Sully than the other two stars.
The director is currently shooting for four sequels of the film that grossed over USD 2.75 billion worldwide. The studio, 20th Century Fox, had recently announced that the second installment of the franchise will release in 2020.
