Govinda Shooting Accident: Actor's Wife Sunita Shares Health Update, Assures Fans He Is Stable

Govinda Gun Shot Accident: The actor was rushed to the hospital on October 1 after his licensed revolver misfired, injuring him in the leg. The actor was about to leave for Kolkata in the wee hours of the day when the accident took place. A day later, his wife Sunita addressed the paparazzi stationed outside the hospital and shared an update on the actor's health.

On October 2, Sunita was spotted outside the Citicare hospital premises where Govinda is admitted. She shared an update on his health and assured his fans that he is stable. Talking to the paparazzi, she shared that the Hero No. 1 actor has been shifted from the ICU to a normal room.

Sunita also thanked his fans and well-wishers for praying for him. In the video, she can be heard talking about how several people came together to pray for the well-being of the actor. She assured Govinda fans that he is well and they will soon see him dance on his feet. Sunita also added that Govinda might get discharged within a day or two.

How did Govinda get injured?

  Govinda ,  who was cleaning his closet when the incident happened, suffered an injury because a small part of the lock of his gun was broken. As per sources, the actor was set to head to Kolkata but prior to that, he thought of organising his closet when the unfortunate incident happened because of the gun’s broken lock.

At the time of the incident, there were 6 bullets loaded, and one misfired into his foot after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital in Juhu. The actor’s wife, Sunita was in Kolkata at the time of the incident. The doctors at the hospital have successfully removed the bullet from his leg, and have stated that the actor will be kept in observation for some time before he is given a discharge. celebrities including Shatrughan Sinha, Jackky Bhagnani, and several others arrived to check on the Govinda .
