Halloween: Janhvi As Morticia Addams, Sonam As Marilyn Monroe, Actresses Celebrate Spooky Season

Halloween 2024: The spooky season has officially begun. It is one of the most fun festivals of the year and will be celebrated across the world on October 31, 2024. Though it began in the West, it is also celebrated in India as well. Bollywood celebrities including Janhvi Kapoor , Ananya Panday, and Sonam Kapoor have embraced the festive spirit of Halloween over the years while recreating some of the most iconic characters. The throwback photos as now going viral again as inspiration.

Janhvi Kapoor shared her transformation into Morticia Addams on Instagram, creating an iconic moment in 2023. She chose a gothic style, beginning with a long, fitted black dress that featured a dramatic silhouette. 

For her makeup, she applied a pale foundation for a flawless finish, complemented by dark, smoky eyes and bold burgundy lips.

Sonam Kapoor as Marilyn Monroe

For a classic Halloween costume, Sonam Kapoor dressed as Marilyn Monroe. She chose a stylish black turtleneck dress that hugged her waist, paired with striking red lipstick and winged eyeliner that enhanced her features. 

Her voluminous grey curls added a touch of vintage glamour and were the centre of her look.

Ananya Panday as Poo

Ananya Panday went playfully out of the box to look like Poo from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. She chose vibrant colours and glamorous pieces, wearing a pink crop top with a chic skirt to embody Poo's spirit. 

To complete the look, she added oversized sunglasses and bold jewellery. Her makeup featured glossy lips and rosy cheeks.

Katrina Kaif as Harley Quinn

Katrina Kaif perfectly captured the essence of Harley Quinn on the previous Halloween. She donned a snug pink top paired with denim shorts featuring black stripes, reminiscent of the outfit worn by the actress. The see-through jacket, embellished with a colourful confetti fringe, contributed to the edgy look.

Her makeup echoed that of the Joker’s actress quite well. For the hair, blonde pigtails can be achieved using temporary hair colour spray or clip-in extensions. To complete the ensemble, a playful yet chaotic accessory, such as a mini baseball bat or a ‘Puddin’ necklace, adds the perfect finishing touch.
