Hansal Mehta says All That Breathes is 'class apart' than Oscar-winning Navalny

Taking to his Twitter handle, Hansal Mehta wrote, “Crucify me for my opinion. But All That Breathes is a class apart. Far more depth, very political."

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta heaped praises on Oscar minee documentary All That Breas in his recent tweet on Sunday (March 26). director called it a “class apart” than Daniel Roher’s Navalny, which won against Shaunak Sen directorial at Acemy Awards this year. 

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mehta wrote, “So I found #Navalny documentary very important as a political story and very ordinary as a film. Go ahe. Crucify me for my opinion. But #AllThatBreas is a class apart. Far more depth, very political also and definitely much more cinematic.”

much-loved documentary has won Grand Jury Prize in World Cinema Documentary Competition at 2022 Sundance Film Festival and Golden Eye award for best documentary at 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, or two minees from India, Kartiki Gonsalves’ Elephant Whisperers and RRR track Naatu Naatu both mand to win in Best Documentary Short Film and Best Original Song categories respectively.
