Hema Malini: Dharmendra's 1st wife & children never felt my intrusion
BJP’s Mathura MP Hema Malini opened up about her marriage with Dharmendra and how she wants to focus on her family and dance post her second term in politics.

Hema Malini, an actress, and a politician, recently opened up about her marriage with actor Dharmendra. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Hema Malini said that she knew he was the man for her the minute she saw him. Hema Malini married Dharmendra in 1979 said that she wanted to spend her life with him but "also wanted to make sure that the marriage hurt nobody".
She further said: "His first wife and children have never felt my intrusion in their lives. I married him, but I never took him away from his first family," she told Deccan Chronicle. She also said that their mutual trust and faith in each other has remained unwavering in all these years. Hema Malini also highlighted that she wants to focus on her family and dance. She said that this will be her last term serving as an MP for the Mathura constituency.
For those unaware, Dharmendra married Parkash Kaur in 1954 and has two sons and two daughters from his first marriage - Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeeta and Ajeeta. Hema Malini and Dharmendra are parents to two daughters - Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Hema Malini surprises fans with a dance performance
Meanwhile, an actress turned politician Hema Malini has been currently serving as BJP MP from Mathura. Although she has been off-screen for quite a long time, the veteran star often mesmerizes fans with her dance performances. Recently, the actress wowed the audiences with her dance while also sending an environmental message of water pollution with her ballet on Ganga.

Hema Malini was re-elected as the Member of Parliament from Mathura Lok Sabha constituency in the recently-held elections. Since her entry into politics, Hema Malini has not been seen in many films, the last notable ones being ‘Aarakashan’ and 'Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap' in 2011.
