Seeta Aur Geeta
Hema Malini saw many milestones in her long career, but none like Seeta Aur Geeta (1972). She played a double role in this movie and the film was widely successful at the box office. The film features Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar in the lead roles. Hema Malini won Best Actress award at 20th Filmfare awards for this film.
Sapno Ka Saudagar
Playing the village belle in the movie Sapno Ka Saudagar, Hemaji looked like a diva in a lehenga choli with her hair parted on one side. Helmed by Mahesh Kaul, the film features Raj Kapoor, Tanuja, and Nadira along with Hema Malini. This was the first movie which gave her the name "Dream Girl". Originally the film was offered to Vjaynthimala, but she refused and thus the film marked Hema’s debut into Bollywood.

Jugnu
Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s Jugnu was released in 1973. Fans loved the candid romance between Hema and Dharmendra in this film. Hema Malini sported a big black hat with curls for one of the movie sequences. The movie went on to become a box office superhit and become the second highest-grossing film of 1973. The film was remade in Telugu as Guru in 1980.

Baghban
Don't we all love Hema Malini as Pooja in Baghban? Directed by Ravi Chopra, the film has Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role while Salman Khan played a supporting role. The tale is of Raj and Pooja Malhotra (AB and Hema) who are forced to separate because none of their four sons can afford to take care of them together. Hema Malini was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress and IIFA Awards for Best Actress for the film.
