Bollywood and Indian cinema, in general, are well-known for their eclectic fusion of song and dance, which helps it to be the most unique film industry in the world. Filmmakers use songs as a plot device but also to attract filmgoers to the big-screen. And filmgoers love to watch movies that have the best songs. In recent times, music directors and lyricists have experimented with songs that feature a mix of English and Hindi lyrics. 1. Don't Be Shy from Bala (2019)

Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming release, Bala, is creating the right kind of buzz amongst the moviegoers. The film, scheduled for release on November 7, is eagerly anticipated for its quirky content, the presence of Ayushmann Khurrana and the music. Recently, the makers dropped the first track of the film, Don't Be Shy. It is a recreation of the popular song of the same name by Dr Zeus and was a hit in the early 2000s.

2. Dhoom Again from Dhoom 2 (2006)

The soundtrack of Dhoom 2 boasts of some of the best tunes to have featured in commercial Bollywood. The title track of the film is still popular to this day. Sung by Vishal Dadlani, the song is remarkable for being written with only English lyrics. The energetic beats of the song, combined with Hrithik Roshan's terrific dance steps has made this dance number memorable.

3. Kya Maine Socha/One Love from Rakht (2004)

The song Kya Maine Socha featured in the 2004 supernatural horror film, Rakht. While the movie, written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, was forgettable, the song went on to become of the most popular songs of its time. Kya Maine Socha is a partial recreation of the song, One Love, recorded by the English boy band Blue. It was filmed on Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu.
