The makers of 'Super 30' in an official statement have confirmed that the Hrithik Roshan starrer is all set to hit the theatres on July 26. However, this means that the film will clash with Kangana Ranaut's 'Mental Hai Kya'. In a tweet, the makers wrote "There is no change in the release date of Super 30. The film will hit screens on 26th July 2019".
Previously, 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' was also scheduled to release around the same time as 'Super 30', but then the makers of the latter decided to postpone the date.
However, seems like this won't be the case this time.
Prior to the statement of 'Super 30' makers, Ekta Kapoor's production company had released a statement saying, "The shift in the release date is a decision taken after recommendations from the distributors, trade analysts and a top research team, keeping in mind the other releases a week before and after this date."

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's 'Mental Hai Kya' has been making headlines as The Indian Psychiatric Society had filed an official complaint to Prasoon Joshi, chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) demanding a change in the title. The committee further wrote, "We take serious objections to the title of the movie which is discriminative, stigmatising, degrading, inhumane in projecting mental disorders and people who suffer from mental disorders."
