Though film received mixed reviews by critics, it is being loved by general audience. film is reportedly on its way to become highest-grossing comedy film in India, beating Golmaal Again.  production of film was done a grand scale with an estimated budget of over 80 crores. makers of film released a BTS video of construction of sets of Housefull 4.

Housefull 4 was shot in a grand set which was shown in film as Sitamgarh palace. Some major parts of film take place in this palace. Portions from film's 1419 part rely heavily on this set. film includes a grand song titled Chammo which features entire star cast of film. Riteish Deshmukh states in video that he hn't worked on a set so grand before. He also ted that song Chammo was biggest song he ever shot. song features over 500 background artists which was shot at set.

Pooja Hegde states in video that filmmakers usually rely on VFX to showcase a grand set like Sitamgarh palace from film. She ded that production value can be seen in every frame of film. technicians and artists reportedly worked for months to build a set for Housefull 4. film is currently running successfully at box-office.
