Housefull 4 trailer: Akshay Kumar and team bring 1419 alive at launch
There was a grand trailer launch for 'Housefull 4' in Mumbai, where the cast including Akshay Kumar arrived in their looks from the previous era, 1419.

Even hours after the release of the trailer, ‘Housefull 4’ was among the most talked-about topics on Twitter on Friday. While the response to the trailer was mixed, and netizens like always, came up with numerous memes and negative comments, the team seems extremely confident about their latest venture, as they put up a grand trailer launch event. The makers set up the event location like the set of the 15th century, and even the lead actors arrived like the characters they play in the movie.
‘Housefull 4’, in a first, is a reincarnation comedy, with one track running in 1419 and the other in 2019. In the first one, the character played by Akshay Kumar seems to be of a king, Bobby Deol is a warrior- while Riteish Deshmukh is a classical dance master; Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda play princesses. In the second track, they play modern youngsters.
For the trailer launch, all the stars came dressed as the characters from the previous era. Akshay Kumar even did the prosthetics for a bald head, arriving as a king while Bobby Deol and Riteish Deshmukh also arrived in their respective get-ups. Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda looked absolutely stunning, dressed as princesses.
All the stars made grand entry, as per respective roles, like Akshay coming in like a king, Riteish showing his dance, or Bobby looking intense as a fighter. The ladies too posed in their dazzling lehengas.
The team, while posing, even goofed around, as they kissed Akshay Kumar’s bald head and more.
The producers, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vijay Singh of Fox Star Studios were also present, but other members of the cast like Chunky Panday, Rana Daggubati and Johnny Lever were not seen.
Housefull 4
‘Housefull 4’ has been directed by Farhad Samji, who along with his brother Sajid Samji had directed the third installment of the franchise. The film is set to release on Diwali, where it is pitted agaisnt Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ and Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy-starrer ‘Made in China.’ Naturally, due to its cast, ‘Housefull 4’ will hold the edge over the others.
