Hrithik Roshan on being the most profitable actor
In an interview with a daily, Hrithik Roshan talked about playing a pivotal role in delivering an economically great year for Bollywood. He said that he is extremely glad and more because this is not just about him but about the Hindi film industry flourishing as a whole. It also shows the sheer power that a good story has. He stated that as an artist, he is very happy that such scripts are being written now. He is enjoying the new phase of filmmaking.
Hrithik went through a great transformation for the two movies. Speaking about the same he said that, it is rare that he has two premieres so close to each other. He mentioned that Anand Kumar and Kabir are as different from each other as they can be. He said that he is very happy that both parties have connected with people in general.

Super 30 and War
Super 30 was released on July 12, 2019. Hrithik played the role of a mathematician Anand Kumar, who desires to provide education to underprivileged kids. The movie was based on a real-life story of Anand Kumar. Super 30 received positive reviews and reportedly collected about ₹146.94 crores in India. The movie was Hrithik’s comeback after a gap of two years.

War was one of the most-awaited films of the year. The face-off between Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan had generated huge buzz. As it hit the theatres on October 2, 2019, it created a storm. It broke several records including the highest-grossing first-day collection for a Hindi film. Till now it has reportedly, collected ₹309.35 crores in India. The movie is doing great at the overseas box office too. War became the first movie of 2019 to enter the ₹300 crore club.
