Hrithik Roshan told Anil Kapoor that he was his first teacher
The conversation started with Hrithik addressing Anil Kapoor as his first teacher. He opened up on how he used to see Anil Kapoor on set while he used to work as an assistant. Replying to Hrithik Roshan’s comment, Anil Kapoor told him that calling him a teacher would not be suitable for his image. Further in the conversation, they talked about how everyone found the Mr. India actor to always be serious, whereas, on the contrary, he talks about he not taking himself seriously.
Anil Kapoor, in his entire career, has done far more movies with a repetitive cast, than what Hrithik Roshan might have dreamt of doing. They also talked about the times when Anil Kapoor faced the camera for the first time for movies, and how it was an advantage being an actor in that time than it is in the present day. And they also talked about how not being renowned gave them an advantage during that time. During the entire conversation with Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan always seemed astounded just by the amount of experience that he had.
Anil Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with the 1979 movie Humare Tumhare. He is known for his appearances in films like Judaai (1997), Mr. India, Tezaab, Nayak: The Real Hero. He made his appearance on-screen in the 2019 movie Total Dhamaal. Anil Kapoor shared the screen with his daughter Sonam Kapoor in the 2019 film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. He will next be seen in the movie Pagalpanti, which is scheduled to release later this year.
Hrithik Roshan, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2000 film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, was last seen in Super 30 that released earlier this year. Since a few years, he has been choosy when it comes to signing new scripts. Currently, Hrithik Roshan is busy promoting his upcoming action/thriller film War. In the upcoming movie, he will share the screen with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.
