Several celebrities from the film industry expressed solidarity with the Devgn family after the death of Ajay’s father, veteran action director Veeru Devgan on Monday. Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Luv Ranjan, John Abraham, Ameesha Patel, Vatsal Sheth were seen spotted at the family’s residence to offer their condolences to the family. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor dedicated his iconic film ‘Mr India’ on its 32nd anniversary on Wednesday to Veeru Devgan while acknowledging his ‘Midas touch.’

Sharing stills from the Shekhar Kapur directorial also starring late legend Sridevi, Kapoor wrote, “#MrIndia was made iconic by its children friendly action scenes & Veeru’s Midas touch. I want to dedicate its 32nd anniversary to the man who made these unforgettable moments possible. #VeeruDevgan was an amazing man & I'm lucky to have worked with him. He is sorely missed...”

Previously, the Bachchan family, Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, Vidya Balan, had also met the family on hearing the tragic news.
Ajay had performed the last rites on the same day at a crematorium in Vile Parle on Monday.
