Actor Hrithik Roshan thanked Bollywood nightingale Lata Mangeshkar for her beautiful words and heartwarming tribute to the actor's grandfather Roshan Lal.

Nightingale of Bollywood, Lata Mangeshkar is quite active on social media se days. Recently, legendary singer posted a tribute to late music director Roshan Lal Nagrath popularly kwn as Roshan on his death anniversary. For unversed, Roshan Lal is Hrithik Roshan’s paternal grandfar. singer shared a musical piece titled Rahein Na Rahein Hum from film Mamta which was directed by Roshan. Actor Hrithik Roshan was quick eugh to thank Lata Mangeshkar for her beautiful words and love on social media.

Hrithik reposted post that was uploed by singer on Twitter. actor shared a video of same song and penned his love for singer and all her iconic songs. Dhoom 2 actor thanked Lata Ji for her heartwarming mess and tribute on special occasion. Hrithik also revealed that song shared by her was one of his “duji’s” favorite out of all he directed.

Earlier, Lata Mangeshkar, on special day, remembered songs directed by Roshan. singer wrote that songs directed by him were soulful and were like medicine for some. singer offered prayers to director and wrote that he even though he is t present today, his music ill survive for years. Gori Hai Kalaiyan singer wrote that re are people who leave for heavenly abode early, but ir memories are here to stay forever.
Roshan Lal began his music lessons at a young and later attended Marris College (w Bhatkhande Music Institute) in Luckw and got himself trained under Pandit S N Ratanjankar (principal of institute). Roshan became an accomplished sarod player under guidance of rewned sarod player Allauddin Khan. In early 1950s, Roshan worked with singers Mohamm Rafi, Mukesh, and Talat Mahmood. Malhar (1951), Shisham, and Anhonee (1952 film) were some of movies that he scored during 1950s. During this time, he also composed Meera bhajan which became a runaway hit, Aeiri main to prem diwani mera dard na jane koyi sung by Lata Mangeshkar for movie Naubahar (1952).
