Hrithik Roshan: When will the fans see him on the silver screen again?

Hrithik Roshan is one of the most versatile actors of the Indian film industry. Apart from being a great actor, the star has also proven himself to be a phenomenal dancer. He has dabbled with many different genres in his career, be it romance in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai to Sci-fi in Krrish 3, action in Dhoom 2 and epic drama in Jodhaa Akhbar. He was last seen starring alongside Student of the Year 2 actor Tiger Shroff in the action-packed movie War.

Hrithik Roshan's upcoming movies

War movie became the highest opener on a national holiday in India. Hrithik returned to the silver screen after two years this year with Super 30. War was Hrithik’s second movie of the year. He will now be seen in Krrish 4 next year. Krrish 4 is the fourth movie of the Krrish franchise that released its first film Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003. The news about the release of the movie on Christmas next year was revealed by the producer of the movie, Rakesh Roshan on his son Hrithik’s birthday.

According to reports, the movie is going to have some jaw-dropping VFX and is going to be an action-packed entertainer. Rakesh Roshan in an interview in 2016 had revealed that Krrish 4 will be releasing in about two years, however, the film is slated to release a few years later than expected. Krrish 4, like all the other movies from the franchise, will be a family entertainer, fit for both adults and children alike. It has been reported that the shooting of both Krrish 4 and Krrish 5 is underway.

Hrithik had revealed that his father was diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. However, he revealed that the team of Krrish will start reworking after his father’s recovery. “Right after 'War', I am going to sit with my father, get everyone together and restart work on 'Krrish 4'. We had put it a little on the side because dad was recovering. Now that he is better, we will kick-start it once more,” Hrithik told PTI.

It has been alleged the Karwaan actor Kriti Kharbanda will play Hrithik’s love interest in the movie. Krrish 4 is one of the most awaited movies from the franchise. Not only movie-goers but also a few trade analysts have tweeted about their enthusiasm for the release of the movie. Allegedly, the movie will not only be produced but also written by Rakesh Roshan. The movie will be directed by Sanjay Gupta. The movie is slated to release on December 25, 2020.  Reportedly, Hrithik will also supposedly star in Ramayana opposite Deepika Padukone, which will release in 2022.
