IFFI 2019 pays homage to 13 film legends whose films will stand the test of time

hom section of IFFI will showcase some of National award-winning work of ted filmmakers Mrinal Sen in Bhuvan Shome-1969 and Grish Karns's Kanna film Kaoru Heggithi (1999). late Assamese actor Biju Khukan's film Aparoopa directed by Janu Barua is also part of cinematic treat. Or groundbreaking work is done in music like unforgettable songs by veteran music director Khayyam Sahab in Umrao Jaan or world-class cinematography produced by cinematographer M.J Rhakrishnan in Veyilmarangal and Vijaya Mulay's short educational animated classic Ek Anek Aur Ekta (1974) are some of or films selected for same.

50th International Film Festival of India, 2019 will witness over 200 films from 76 countries. With screening of 26 feature films and 15 n-feature films in Indian parama section, around 10,000 people and film lovers are expected to attend and participate in golden jubilee edition. 2019 Golden Jubilee edition of International Film Festival of India will take place from vember 20 to vember 28, at Panjim, Goa.
