IIFA 2019: Bollywood comes together for awards night; LIVE UPDATES

The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is on & this is the first time the event is organized in India. The awards for the popular categories will be handed over today.

The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is on and this time, the grand event is being organized in India, for the first time. The 'homecoming edition' which marks IIFA's return to the country kickstarted in Mumbai on September 16 with IIFA Rocks, the sidebar event which celebrates the work of people behind the films. On 18 September, the main awards night is organized in Mumbai where the popular categories, including Best Film, Best Actor and direction awards will be handed out.

Hosts

Bollywood's very favorite Ayushmann Khurrana will be the host for the night and will be accompanied by brother Aparshakti Khurrana. The sibling duo had expressed their excitement over the same and had shared a couple of pictures from their rehearsals.

Performances

The star-studded night will witness a number of stellar performances by Sara Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Katrina Kaif, among others. Madhuri Dixit will reportedly pay tribute to veteran choreographer Saroj Khan with her performance.
