Ileana D'Cruz opens up on the break-up with longtime boyfriend Andrew Kneebone

Ileana D'Cruz, who is currently gearing up for Pagalpanti's release opened up about her break-up with long-time boyfriend, Andrew Kneebone. In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Ileana said a relationship involves two people and it is not fair when you are talking about it because their privacy needs to be respected too. For those unaware, Andrew Kneebone is an Australian photographer.

"For me, it's always been about the fact that when you are in a relationship, it's not just you. It's two people. So you cannot be just one person saying stuff. You are technically talking for the other person too and it's not fair. You need to respect their privacy too.  While I'm okay dealing with criticism and trolls, it's unfair for the other person to be subjected to that," Ileana told Pinkvilla.

She further revealed: "I don't get upset. When you are going through a situation like this, you understand the value of your family and friends. It's the same that happened for me. I had my family and closest friends supporting me right through it."

On the work front

Ileana will be seen alongside John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, and Urvashi Rautela in the film titled Pagalpanti. This action-comedy is produced by  Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar and Kumar Mangat Pathak, and is set to hit the silver screens on November 22, 2019. The plot of the comedy-drama revolves around three men who are considered losers by people. They plan to get rich with their lovers by fooling two gangsters and robbing money from them.

“Comedy doesn't come to mind when people think of me. After 'Mubarakan' people from the industry told me they were surprised to see me in the film and said they didn't expect me to be also good in it. It's a challenge to surprise people so I like to put myself in situations where even I don't know if I can pull it off,” Ileana told PTI.
