Independence Day 2019: Kangana Ranaut says, 'let's take a pledge to bring back patriotism' in a video message
On the occasion of Independence Day, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to social media and wished the nation.

As the nation celebrates its 73rd Independence Day, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher among others took to social media and wished their friends and fans, a "Happy Independence Day". Social media has been abuzz since morning with several stars sharing greetings along with some inspirational messages and pictures holding up the flag with pride.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, posted an elaborate video message on the occasion. Extending wishes to the nation, she says, "There was once a time when our culture and traditions have been spoken about at great lengths. However, in the current times, the amount of pride that one should feel towards their nation is not the same. So, today let's take a pledge to bring back patriotism".
She then goes on to speak about 'personal identity' and says that we should all come forward and believe that we all have one identity, and that is that all of us are Indians. She also addressed how one should work towards social issues of cleanliness, deforestation, usage of harmful plastic and malnutrition among others.
The actress concluded the video by saying that even though people call us third wold we cannot be third class and we will always be Indians first

Kangana Ranaut recently starred in 'Judgementall Hai Kya', the story revolves around the quirky characters of Kangana and Rajkummar Rao. The movie, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi raked average numbers at the box office.

The film revolves around Bobby (played by Kangana Ranaut) who has witnessed a horrific childhood is 20 years later diagnosed with acute psychosis. Bobby Batliwala Agarwal, a dubbing artist is sent to an asylum after she attacks a co-worker (who tries to get cozy with her). What is Bobby's main problem? She easily gets obsessed with the characters she is dubbing for and hears different voices in her head once she starts playing and living the character she dubs for.
The actress next has a plethora of projects lined up in her kitty. She will be seen in 'Dhakkad', 'Panga' and the Jayalalitha biopic
