As the makers began the campaign, they announced that the movie's new title, seemingly for its English audience, has been renamed Lost Ladies. Laapataa Ladies' title change draw flak

Directed by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Ladies was released in theatres on March 1, 2024. It was well received by the audience who hailed the makers for the storyline. However, with the title change, they are not very happy with the decision. A user wrote, "The old title was better than this."
