Laapataa Lies Renamed: Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Shrivastava's comedy-drama has been selected as India’s entry for 97th Acemy Awards in Best International Feature Film category. As makers began campaign, y anunced that movie's new title, seemingly for its English audience, has been renamed Lost Lies. However, this hasn't gone down well with Indian audience and y are criticising makers for same on Internet.

To kick off ir Acemy Awards campaign, makers took to ir Instagram account to reveal a new poster on Tuesday, vember 12. poster features major characters of film in a quirky and vibrant style, giving fans a glimpse into playful world of Lost Lies. A line on poster res, "Sometimes you have to lose your way to find yourself."

Along with poster, team shared a mess on social media, with a caption that re, " wait is over! Presenting official poster for Lost Lies - a glimpse into wild, heartfelt journey of Phool and Jaya! Huge shoutout to Jahan Singh Bakshi and Prashanth C for bringing our story to life with this stunning design. Get rey to be swept away!"

Laapataa Lies' title change draw flak

Directed by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Lies was released in atres on March 1, 2024. It was well received by audience who hailed makers for storyline. However, with title change, y are t very happy with decision. A user wrote, " old title was better than this."
