Inspired By Bobby Deol, Arjun Kapoor Expresses Desire To Make Telugu Debut After Singham Again

Arjun Kapoor’s role in Singham Again as antagonist is receiving immense love. The film which hit the big screens on Diwali and is directed by Rohit Shetty. Days, after the release, Arjun Kapoor has now opened up about his interest in working in south and who inspires him to do so.

Arjun Kapoor who is extremely thankful for his role as Danger Lanka expressed his gratitude towards filmmaker Rohit Shetty, acknowledging the trust the director placed in him when many others were hesitant.

In a recent interaction, when Arjun Kapor was asked about taking on negative roles, he said that now is the right time and is taking inspiration from Bobby Deol. He said, “I would love to do more negative roles. I’m also looking to expand my horizons in the South, and if anything interesting comes my way, I’ll surely take it up in Telugu cinema”.

When Arjun Kapoor said the Singham Again is ’starting point’

In an interview with PTI, Arjun Kapoor said, “I’m happy people are liking my work… Now is the new starting point. The rebirth or the redemption, whatever you want to call it, I think it starts now. He trusted me and he took that chance and I hope I repaid his faith. I loved working on the film.  was looking at a challenge and an opportunity to prove and push myself and grab my chance in a competitive environment… I thought this was the right opportunity.”

The 39-year-old actor, who made his debut in 2012 with Ishaqzaade, about two enemies-turned-star-crossed lovers, said the offer for Singham Again came at the right time in his life.
