Irrfan Khan passes away: Aamir Khan expresses his thoughts on Padma Shri-winner's demise
As Irrfan Khan passed away, Aamir Khan expressed his thoughts on Twitter and termed the news as 'tragic'. The actor called Irrfan as a 'wonderful talent'.

Taking to Twitter, Aamir wrote that he was sdened by demise of Hindi Medium star, and termed it ‘tragic.’ actor praised Irrfan for his 'wonderful talent’, while conveying his condolences to his bereaved wife and sons. Rang De Basanti star conveyed his gratitude to Irrfan for joys brought to audiences through his work and ded that he’ll be forever remembered.'

Irrfan Khan bread his last at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. He h been mitted to hospital after suffering from colon infection.

actor was diagsed with cancer in 2018 and h been treated in UK. He h returned to India last year.

“I trust, I have surrendered”; se were some of many words that Irrfan expressed in a heart felt te he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen. It’s sdening that this day, we have to bring forward news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he h said, “As if I was tasting life for first time, magical side of it”.
Irrfan was felicitated with awards like National Award for his film Paan Singh Tomar and government h recognised his work by houring him with Pma Shri in 2008.

He h me his debut with Mira Nair’s Acemy-minated Salaam Bombay in 1988. Some of his or acclaimed works include Haasil, Maqbool Namesake, Lunchbox, Talwar, Piku and Hindi Medium.
Irrfan also was one of few India names to features in numerous Hollywood films like Slumdog Millionaire, Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi, Namesake and Infer.

Irrfan’s last film was Angrezi Medium that released on March 13. While film got affected at box office due to COVID-19 pandemic, digital streaming of movie fetched actor unanimous praise.
