Irrfan Khan knew his character from 'Haasil' would not 'die soon', says Tigmanshu Dhulia
Irrfan Khan deserved a National award for his 2003 film 'Haasil' and he knew his character would not die soon, said filmmaker and actor Tigmanshu Dhulia.

According to reports, Tigmanshu Dhulia, who was maker of Haasil, one of most critically acclaimed films of Irrfan Khan, wrote a heartfelt tweet about actor. In an interview with a leing portal, he also talked about Khan and film and said that Haasil was a very tough film to make. It was hard for m to even release that film.

filmmaker talked about journey of making film right from its conception to its release and said that Irrfan Khan was always re. He h faith in film, Dhulia stated. He furr said that when Khan saw first cut and said his character is t going to die soon. Dhulia said this was “so true.”

Talking about Irrfan Khan’s acting in film, Dhulia said that he did t get a National Award because Dhulia h a fight with producer. So out of revenge, filmmaker said, he (producer) did t send film Haasil for National Awards, which, he felt, was a huge blow.
Dhulia was sure that Khan would have got award in 2004. He n furr spoke about how late actor was capable of achieving much more. He, as an actor, struggled a lot in his early days in Bollywood, Dhulia said.

Tigmanshu Dhulia furr said that whatever Irrfan Khan did achieve internationally is unmatched by any or Indian actor so far. Khan’s demise in April left his fans heartbroken and shocked.
