Irrfan was buried at Versova kabrastan in Mumbai at 3pm this afteron soon after news of his passing away was anunced. In presence were his family, close relatives and friends. Everyone paid ir final respects and mourned loss of his passing away. We pray for his peace and we hope he’s in a better place today. He was strong in his fight, and we all have to be strong too in this loss.
Irrfan Khan passed away at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. actor was 53. Gunday star, who was diagsed with cancer in 2018, had been admitted to hospital after suffering from colon infection on Tuesday.
His family had released a heartfelt statement to inform his fans of demise.

“I trust, I have surrendered”; se were some of many words that Irrfan expressed in a heart felt te he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen. It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he had said, “As if I was tasting life for first time, magical side of it”.
Irrfan was houred with awards like National Award for Best Actor for Paan Singh Tomar, apart from prestigious Padma Shri from government in 2011.
After his debut with Academy-minated Salmaam Bombay in 1988, actor went on to earn acclaim for his performances in films like Namesake, Lunchbox, Talwar, Piku and Hindi Medium.

Roles in Hollywood films like Slumdog Millionaire, Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi, Namesake and Infer were a highlight of his career.

Irrfan was praises for his work in his last Angrezi Medium, which got affected due to COVID-19 pandemic, but was watched by many after its digital premiere.
